About

I built this because nobody built it for me.

I am Raisul. I have built my own career working remotely from Bangladesh for a UK company. I teach every session of Influent Academy myself, and this page is here so you can decide whether that is worth six months of your time.

  • Current role

    Product Manager, Growth and Analytics

MeasureMinds Group, a UK-based digital analytics agency.

  • Experience

More than five years in the field

Across digital marketing, analytics, SEO, growth and product work.

  • Education

BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

    Rajshahi University, Bangladesh.

  • Across the work

From marketing execution to product management

Enterprise SEO and social media, then web analytics, then product and growth marketing.

The story, briefly

I did not arrive here in a straight line.

I studied electrical and electronic engineering at Rajshahi University. Nothing about that degree pointed at digital marketing, and I finished it with a qualification and very little idea of how to turn it into work I actually wanted.

What followed was a few years of learning in the least efficient order possible: SEO, then content, then social, then email, then analytics, mostly by taking on work I was not ready for and figuring it out at night. Some of it stuck. A lot of it was wasted, because there was nobody to tell me which was which.

The turning point was a remote role. I joined MeasureMinds Group, a UK-based digital analytics agency, as a Digital Marketing Executive, working from Bangladesh with a team in another country and another time zone. For the first time someone was reading my work and telling me what was wrong with it, and the scattered pieces started connecting. From there the work moved deeper into analytics, and then into product, product marketing and growth. I am now Product Manager, Growth and Analytics at the same company.

I am not suggesting you copy that route. It was not planned and the detours were expensive. The narrower point is this: practical skill, proof that you can do the work, honest feedback and the ability to operate professionally with an international team opened paths I could not see from where I started. This programme is the feedback loop I wish I had had earlier.

A winding road with seven stops, read from the bottom up: EEE degree, self-learning, trial and error, a remote digital marketing role, analytics, product and growth, and teaching forward today.
Relevant experience

What I actually do, on working days.

I am not a full-time course seller. I teach this in addition to a job in the field, which is both the reason the cohort is small and the reason the examples are current.

Everything on this page is verifiable. If any of it matters to your decision, ask and I will point you to the evidence.

Specialist training

Real-world projects gave me context.
But these specialist programmes
sharpened my thinking.

Working across digital marketing, analytics, product and growth taught me what the work actually looks like. Alongside it I kept studying deliberately, through specialist programmes at CXL, Reforge, Simplilearn and Analytics Mania. The work gave me context. The structured learning gave me frameworks to make sense of it, and the habit of testing my instincts against something more rigorous than my own experience.

Neither half would have been enough on its own, and that balance is what I try to teach: the reasoning behind a decision as well as the steps to carry it out.

These are programmes I studied. They are not partners or endorsements, and none of their material is reproduced in this course.

How I teach

Four principles the whole programme is built on.

Learn by building

You cannot absorb this from a slide. Every phase produces something that exists, that can be looked at, and that can be wrong in a way you can see. Watching me do it is the least useful part of the session.

Measure before you spend

This is why measurement is taught in month one and paid channels in month three. Buying traffic you cannot measure is how beginners lose a client's money and their own confidence at the same time.

Use AI with judgement

AI is in every phase, as a drafting and analysis aid with human review. Speed up your work with it. Do not outsource your thinking to it, because the thinking is the part people pay for.

Feedback over content

There is more free marketing content online than anyone could watch in a lifetime, and it has not solved this problem. What is scarce is someone reading your work and telling you precisely what is weak about it.

Why this is designed for Bangladesh

Most training here is imported and it shows.

Most marketing education assumes a different job market, payment system and infrastructure. That advice can be technically correct and still hard to use from Bangladesh.

So this programme covers the realities that matter here: competing for international remote roles, building proof before you have a recognised employer, remote interviews, time zones, connectivity, international payment or payroll, and spotting fake jobs.

Sessions use Bangla and English naturally. Written material stays in English because that is the language much of the industry works in.

An open book. The left page, a global playbook, shows greyed-out steps and a declined card. The right page, built for Bangladesh, shows a remote interview, a Bangladesh map pin, portfolio proof, a UTC+6 clock, a contract and a verified role.
Three names, explained

How Raisul Builds, Influent Academy and Influent.pro relate.

You will see all three. They are connected but they are not the same thing, and it is fair to want that spelled out.

Raisul Builds

My personal creator platform. Free Bengali-language content about remote careers and digital skills. This is most likely where you found this programme, and it stays free.

Influent Academy

This programme. The live cohort, the curriculum, the feedback and the community. Taught by me, personally, for 24 weeks.

Influent.pro

My service business for creators and personal brands. Graduates may be considered for paid opportunities there. Considered, not promised. There is no job guarantee attached to this programme.

What I will not do

The commitments that shape everything else.

  • Honest work. If a task benefits me commercially, you are paid for it.
  • Practical learning. Every session ends with something you can do that you could not do that morning.
  • Respectful communication. Nobody is made to feel stupid for asking a basic question.
  • Responsible AI. Disclosed, reviewed and never used to replace your judgement.
  • No outcome hype. No income claims, no invented placement rates, no fake testimonials, ever.
  • Visible unknowns. What is undecided stays marked as undecided on this site.

If that sounds like the way you want to learn, come and build.
